If you’re tuning in late, refer to the previous post about Lisa being pregnant and Finn Riggins taking a baby baby break after a few more shows this summer… Well, we now know that Lisa will be having a girl! Very very very very very very excited. XOXOXOXOXOXOXO
All the shows so far this Summer, Ranch Fest, etc have been incredible and so much fun — been great seeing you all! We have just a handful left, and we will be playing our final show before this indefinite baby baby break on August 1st — exactly 7 years since we packed up from Moscow, Idaho and moved to Hailey and started this whole Finn Riggins journey of endless tours around the country, 1000+ shows and countless amazing adventures with all of you. We are incredibly grateful for all of the support and good times over the years. As of now, a little unknown what the future holds for this band, but we’re all embracing a future with it and the intention is to write and record an album in our downtime, most likely inspired to some degree by the new spark we will soon birth into this world.
We’re playing this Sunday (July 7th) in Boise at Julia Davis Park as part of a big Boise 150 celebration as this great city is now 150 years old. Honored to be included in the festivities and we’ll be rocking the bandshell at 1pm, right before the Mayor speaks — opening for the Mayor! After that, we’re playing two college/community radio festivals next weekend. July 12th KEOL Fest in La Grande and July 13th KYRS Music Fest in Spokane. Then our final show will be at Neurolux in Boise on August 1st. For the occasion we’ve coerced our longtime friend, conspirator and fellow instigator of good times and wild ideas — the legendary JARED MEES — to come out and play this show with us. It’ll make for a fantastically wild evening no doubt. Plus our good friend LIONSWEB will open the show and Tyler Walker will be doing projections.
We can’t think of a better way to go out — with all of our homeys here in Boise — and invite you all to join us for this last hurrah before the beginning of a new chapter in the adventures of Finn Riggins.
All kinds of magic in the air these days. NW buddies, come hang out with us the first week or so in February. Hopefully, you already have tickets because many of these are already SOLD OUT. Get tix where you can.

woke up at 4:30 am yesterday to brave some snowy snowy roads and hustle over to little Cove, OR between the Wallowa and Blue Mountains for a day of hanging with the kids at the K-12 Cove School. absolutely incredible time. long adventurous days in their halls and classrooms talking music and art and life on the road. what a fantastic group of kids. really inspiring day.
then got to cap it off with a show at one of our absolute most cherished venues in the country — The Crawlspace //// La Grande, OR. doesn’t happen too often any more. but the doors to this sacred place were once again opened for what turned out to be a brilliant gathering of La Grandians and some outliers /// dance party!! what a beautiful day and night! thanks to Mr. G, Mr. McBride, everyone at Cove School that made us feel so welcome, Austin and The Crawlspace and Waypoint crew, Sons of Guns, World’s Greatest Ghosts and everyone that made it out last night. the rest of the story is in pictures below. show tonight at Visual Arts Collective in Garden City to help raise awareness and funds for Radio Boise — on air in April!! 89.9FM in the Treasure Valley. can’t wait. then off to Sun Valley tomorrow to wrap up our February NW tour with World’s Greatest Ghosts at the infamous Whiskey Jacques.
