Friday, December 30th at Neurolux here in Boise with our reunited friends IN THE SHADOW OF THE MOUNTAIN (so pumped for this!!) and newer locals FOUNTAINS. more details for this show HERE — this show will be hotttt.
Then we’ll be ringing in the New Year up in Hailey with the wild wild FRESSHIES crew. Get your tickets in advance at Fresshies in downtown Hailey or contact us via the contact page to reserve your spot — very limited space!

Lots of exciting things in the works for 2012! Especially in March when we’ll be heading back to SXSW in Austin with a bunch of other Boise bands (Built To Spill, Youth Lagoon, Le Fleur, Brett Netson Band, Hillfolk Noir, TEENS and more) as well as helping to host a big festival here in Boise. If you’re not already familiar with TREEFORT MUSIC FEST, we highly recommend you get in the loop because it’s shaping up to be 4 incredible days of music right here in the capitol city of Idaho.
lots of rocknrollin at the ‘ol homestead right now. recording on the nearing horizon. we’ve all been loving being home and in the midst of the stellar vibes of the Boise scene // hard to beat Idaho vibes. lots of excitement in the air. it’s energizing. and the jamz are hottt

we have a few regional shows this fall while we finish up work on a new recording. pumped for all of these.
spring has been off to a great start thus far. boise’s been beautiful and the music happening here has been jazzin our jazz hands.

we have a new song we wrote and recorded in February for a 7″ split with our neighbors and basketball buddies Hillfolk Noir that will be released for Record Store Day this month! we’ll be helping to kickoff Record Store Day celebrations with an in-store performance and official 7″ release on FRI April 15th at the Record Exchange here in Boise (ALL AGES // FREE // 6-8pm). very excited for this. these are new unreleased songs by both bands.

hey doods.
had a great time in Vegas last weekend. posted some photos from the trip over on our Boise Weekly Blog. really enjoyed The Dodos set and all the flashing lights, but mostly the carpet patterns.
we’re hosting some friends we met on tour last spring out in the Northeast called Delicate Steve here in Boise (well, technically Garden City) next wednesday (mar 23rd). their debut album just came out on David Byrne’s label Luaka Bop and they’re currently tearing up SXSW and then are stopping here in the Treasure Valley on their way to jump back on tour with Akron/Family on the West Coast. super excited to have them here. very incredible band ripping stellar instrumental celebrations. must see to believe. (watch this video for a taste) and with our Portland friends Hosannas rolling thru on their way from SXSW we decided to turn it into a little mini-fest and added two of our favorite newer local bands Owlright and TEENS to the lineup. gonna have two stages of bangin tunez. tell your friends. wednesday party at VAC. all awesome. 21+ / 8pm / only $5

thanks to all the incredible bands that made the trek for this year’s barn party on the remote camas prairie in central idaho. high desert rock n roll. doesn’t get much wilder. amazing amazing amazing. thanks to everyone that attended and helped out and rallied the spirits!! what an incredible group of people committed to awesomeness. seriously, blew our minds how smoothly everything went. and what a ridiculously amazing time the whole weekend was. please do keep up with the bands (links below) that played this year on their endeavors around the country and we’ll see you next year!
