If you’re tuning in late, refer to the previous post about Lisa being pregnant and Finn Riggins taking a baby baby break after a few more shows this summer… Well, we now know that Lisa will be having a girl! Very very very very very very excited. XOXOXOXOXOXOXO
All the shows so far this Summer, Ranch Fest, etc have been incredible and so much fun — been great seeing you all! We have just a handful left, and we will be playing our final show before this indefinite baby baby break on August 1st — exactly 7 years since we packed up from Moscow, Idaho and moved to Hailey and started this whole Finn Riggins journey of endless tours around the country, 1000+ shows and countless amazing adventures with all of you. We are incredibly grateful for all of the support and good times over the years. As of now, a little unknown what the future holds for this band, but we’re all embracing a future with it and the intention is to write and record an album in our downtime, most likely inspired to some degree by the new spark we will soon birth into this world.
We’re playing this Sunday (July 7th) in Boise at Julia Davis Park as part of a big Boise 150 celebration as this great city is now 150 years old. Honored to be included in the festivities and we’ll be rocking the bandshell at 1pm, right before the Mayor speaks — opening for the Mayor! After that, we’re playing two college/community radio festivals next weekend. July 12th KEOL Fest in La Grande and July 13th KYRS Music Fest in Spokane. Then our final show will be at Neurolux in Boise on August 1st. For the occasion we’ve coerced our longtime friend, conspirator and fellow instigator of good times and wild ideas — the legendary JARED MEES — to come out and play this show with us. It’ll make for a fantastically wild evening no doubt. Plus our good friend LIONSWEB will open the show and Tyler Walker will be doing projections.
We can’t think of a better way to go out — with all of our homeys here in Boise — and invite you all to join us for this last hurrah before the beginning of a new chapter in the adventures of Finn Riggins.

If Round 2 of Treefort was that good, can hardly wait to see how Round 3 unfolds. In the meantime, team Finn Riggins continues to write and work towards a new album, as well as make occasional appearances around the region. Also, RANCH FEST is coming! Mark you calendars and plan on being to Tumbleweeds by 1pm MST on Friday MAY 24th and staying until 1pm on Sunday MAY 26th. More details soon.

Big thanks to everyone that made it out to the Radio Boise Tour PRE Fat Block Party on Friday in downtown Boise. Ended up being a really incredible party and lots of money was raised for Radio Boise! Great volunteer help and all kinds of community support made for a great event and a start of a new tradition.
It’s been a great summer all around and it’s been a huge pleasure to see each and everyone of you at the shows all over the West! We’ve got one more string of summer shows this week with some of our bestest band buddies ever and one of the greatest bands of our generation — TARTUFI. If you don’t know Tartufi yet, this is a nice introduction — blowing minds.
