post-SXSW mini fest at VAC on WED Mar 23rd!

hey doods.
had a great time in Vegas last weekend. posted some photos from the trip over on our Boise Weekly Blog. really enjoyed The Dodos set and all the flashing lights, but mostly the carpet patterns.

we’re hosting some friends we met on tour last spring out in the Northeast called Delicate Steve here in Boise (well, technically Garden City) next wednesday (mar 23rd). their debut album just came out on David Byrne’s label Luaka Bop and they’re currently tearing up SXSW and then are stopping here in the Treasure Valley on their way to jump back on tour with Akron/Family on the West Coast. super excited to have them here. very incredible band ripping stellar instrumental celebrations. must see to believe. (watch this video for a taste) and with our Portland friends Hosannas rolling thru on their way from SXSW we decided to turn it into a little mini-fest and added two of our favorite newer local bands Owlright and TEENS to the lineup. gonna have two stages of bangin tunez. tell your friends. wednesday party at VAC. all awesome. 21+ / 8pm / only $5

for more details and set times go here: 3/23 post-SXSW mini fest @ Visual Arts Collective

the Idaho Statesman wrote a nice article about it all today… check it out: love from Michael Deeds in The Scene

poster is below. spread the word. if there’s one show you don’t miss all year, make it be this one!
